Show yourself some loving kindness with Metta

I first heard of “Metta Meditation” when watching an episode of Dr Rangan Chatterjee’s interview series as Rich Rubin, legendary music producer, was being interviewed.

His story was so interesting.

I felt very inspired to find out more about Metta meditation… actually think it was like Meta data LOL but actually Metta is a Buddhist practice.

Often referred to as loving-kindness meditation, Metta meditation is a mindfulness practice that originates from Buddhist traditions. The essence of Metta meditation is to cultivate feelings of love, goodwill, and compassion, not only for oneself but also for others, including loved ones, acquaintances, and even those with whom we may have difficulties or conflicts. Practitioners typically start by directing these positive feelings towards themselves and then gradually extend them outward to encompass broader circles of individuals, ultimately extending loving-kindness to all.

Metta meditation aims to cultivate feelings of interconnectedness, reduce negative emotions, and promote a kinder and more compassionate outlook on life, ultimately creating inner peace and harmony. It is a powerful practice for enhancing your emotional well-being and cultivating a heart of loving-kindness in a world often in need of more compassion and understanding.

Join me for this EFT tapping session when we use Metta to cultivate compassion and joy for ourselves and others.
