When we’re mindful, we reduce stress, enhance everyday efficiencies, better understand our own mind, and increase our attention to others’ well-being. Mindfulness meditation gives you a quiet moment to relinquish self harming judgments and allows you to explore your mind and all your sometimes silly yet charming thoughts and ideas. Above all else, mindfulness is about approaching yourself with warmth and kindness, and extending that to others as well.

Keep in mind, meditation doesn’t require us to change who we are, but rather build on ourselves as we already wield the capacity to be present and kind to ourselves.
